Final Presentation

Link to previous lesson & Lesson aim: Complete final digital Robot Design using Adobe Illustrator including colour & pattern. Print out final A3 poster.

Tuning in/Warm up/Hook:

Students are to make their way around the computer lab to see everyone’s work for inspiration, and acknowledge every students' progress encouraging positive feedback for each student. This will create motivation to complete their work and a final chance for additional ideas - promoting divergent/convergent thinking.

Body/main task:

Students are to complete and refine their digital design on Illustrator, and print the final copy as an A3 poster.

Clean up/pack up:

Ensuring all students have completed their copy of the printed A3 poster, as per the correct criteria, and handed into the teacher.

Lesson conclusion/student reflection:

How did that timeframe work in terms of an effective lesson sequence, was there enough time for students to complete every part of the process?

Was it rushed and stressful for students to produce quality work?

Was the idea/design problem of the Robot well received - having every student follow the same design brief? Does this allow for maximum creativity, or is it more effective to allow for more autonomy in a design class (i.e. having multiple design briefs accessible to students)
